Only 13 years have passed since they opened their doors but Universal Casting (located in the heart of Little River Miami, has made its mark on the arts and entertainment community at large. Carlos Rojas, Ginger Wortley and Eva Edlund joined forces to create one of the most prestigious casting offices - infusing new life into the industry. The Universal crew has been a part of some of the most exciting, humor- filled and emotional projects casted in Florida. They’ve casted for films such as: “Stranded, “Square Root of 2” and “Vanished” and recently worked on “Pain & Gain”. On the television side; Universal found just what clients needed for “CSI Miami” and “Entourage”. When TV Movie Guide needed a host – Universal was where they came to get the best talent the state had to offer. The crew has even found its way into the music world - casting for videos for top artists like Kenny Chesney, Shakira and Alejandro Sanz. It’s no wonder that when the MTV Video Music Awards came to Miami they without hesitation - entrusted all their casting needs to this young, imaginative team.

Christine Donalds began her career in the entertainment industry as an intern at Ada Gordon Talent Agency & Just For Kids in 1994. From there she moved forward to become the co owner of a South Florida talent agency for 12 years. She provided local, regional, national and international clients with top notch talent and a high standard of professional service.
Looking for a new venture; she found a home at one of the top casting agencies in South Florida; Universal Casting, located in the heart of Miami Beach. She brings her knowledge of talent marketing and development, desire to increase production in Florida and the drive to raise the standards for customer service within the industry.
Her position as Director of Universal’s arts academy (Universal Academy) lends her the opportunity to use her past experience to guide and prepare talent for their acting careers. She takes time out to speak at various venues to educate new talent about the industry and help them avoid many of the pitfalls and misconceptions that exist.
In addition to the Academy, Christine has broadened her knowledge and skill set to include Casting Coordinator. She is now afforded the opportunity to assist clients with casting breakdowns and organizing and overseeing casting sessions. She feels blessed to have had an amazing career the past 17 years and hopes to continue for many mo
